He is survived by: his wife Sharon Howerton of Bogata, Texas; his sons, Richard Howerton of Bogata and Christopher (Amanda Howerton) of La Veria, Texas; his granddaughter Crystal Howerton; his great grandchildren, Kymber and Coy Casey; his nephew Kenneth Howerton (Heather) of Pine Branch, Texas; and his siblings, Wesley Howerton (Linda) of Victoria, Edward Howerton (Kathy) of Elk Hart, Texas and Dessie Howerton of Talco. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
