With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Sammy Ward of Bogata, Texas, who passed away on September 9, 2020 at the age of 75. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James William "Bill" Ward and Isabelle Van Hawkins; his wife Carol Ann Ward; and his brother Richard Ward. He is survived by: his children, Jo Ann King (J. D.) of Amity, Arkansas and Jason Ward (Lisa Essary) of Paris, Texas; his grandchildren, Lyndsey, Alex Mota, Laryn Hanes and Brittney Simons; his great grandchildren, Isabella Rose Mota and Kayelynn Simons; and his cousin Sarah Ragsdill.
The family requests that memorials be made to Bogata Cemetery.
