It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ronnie Merchant (Bogata, Texas), who passed away on September 18, 2019, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Harvey Merchant and Mary Merchant (Hornbuckle); his wife Barbara Merchant of Bogata, Texas; his daughters, Bobbie Ortiz and Stephanie Merchant; his grandsons, Marco A Parra, Jr. (Yoselin Parra) and Carlos Ortiz; his great grandchild Aliyah I. Garrett of Mount Pleasant, Texas; and his siblings, Richard Johnson of Oklahoma, William Doc Estes of Hooks, Texas, Darlene Shimpock (Tim) of Annona, Carolyn Gibson (Rick), Rosemary Roam (Danny) of Daingerfield and Patricia Matthews of Dekalb. He was also cherished by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
