She was predeceased by: her parents, William "Clifford" Barnard and Laura Barnard (Croom); her husband Avret Lynn Vaughan; and her grandchildren, Valerie Vaughan and Richard McCoin.
She is survived by: her children, William Jeffery Vaughan of Bogata, Laura (Albert McCoin) of Detroit and Mary Lynn (Kenneth Palmer) of Bogata, Texas; her grandchildren, Christina Heichelheim, Joey McCoin, Andrea Martin, Kara Baca, Megan Hightower, Adam Horn, Aaron Palmer, William Vaughan, Colby Horn, Julie McCoin and Aubrey Herring; her siblings-in-law, Lawrence (Helen Vaughan) of Overton, Texas, Eleanor Crawford of Paris and Mary Ann Ward of Henderson, Texas; and her cousins, Pam, Wanda June, Mitzi, Lou Beth and Linda. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
