With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mary Jane Barnard of Bogata, Texas, who passed away on November 27, 2024 at the age of 81. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Mary Jane Barnard to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Carl and Mittie Irene Hanley (Locke); her husband Don; her siblings, Irene, Perry, Dee, Linda, James and Carl; and her granddaughter Wendi Turrell.
She is survived by: her children, Ronnie (Pam Barnard), Thresa (Leo Salas) and Lawanza (Brandon Haley); her grandchildren, David Bishop, Lesa and Silvia Yanez; her great grandchildren, Bella Peralta, Aubree Peralta, Emersyn Peralta and Jaxton Lumen; her sister Faye Hanley; her sister-in-law Wanda Wilson; and her aunt Anita Locke. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 30th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Sam B. Harvey Funeral Home (409 N Kaufman St, Mt Vernon, TX 75457). A funeral service was held on Sunday, December 1st 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Lake Chapel House. A burial was held on Sunday, December 1st 2024 at the Bogata Cemetery (3rd St NE, Bogata, TX 75417).
