Pleasant, TX, Carolyn (Jeff Gibson) of Pattonville, TX, Sharon (Clint Greer) of Rockwall, TX and Melanie (Jeremiah Handlin) of Powderly, TX; his brothers, Elwin (Patricia Strawn) of Sulphur Springs, TX and Jerrell (Cynthia Strawn) of Vicksburg, MS; his brother-in-law Dan Beaton of West Helena, AR; his grandchildren, Paige (Tee Green), Lily Gibson, Hollie Greer, Paydan, Miah and Lanie Handlin; his great grandchildren, Georgia and Truman Green; his wife Carolyn Jane Beaton Strawn; and his siblings, Van (Diane Strawn), Arliss Strawn, Opal (Sanford Pickens) and James Helms. He was also cherished by nieces and nephews, extended family and a plethora of friends.
