He was predeceased by: his wives, Wilma Campbell and Emelee Campbell; his daughters, Kay Ross, Janet Oaks and Carolyn Hovenkamp; his siblings, Leroy Campbell, Coy Campbell, Marie Lawson, Loretta Ratliff and Ruby Nell; and his grandchildren, Tony Oaks, Candice Oaks and Meloney Kristofik.
He is survived by: his sisters, Marilyn Norbury and Carolyn Womack; his sons-in-law, Richard Ross and Leo Hovenkamp; and his grandchildren, Tammy Kinsley, Clay Oaks, Carol Ann Hovenkamp, Cheryl Waldmer, Melissa Franks, Ashley Shiver and Kimberly Pritchard. He is also survived by thirteen great-grandchildren and numerous great-great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, February 4th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Thursday, February 6th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM. A graveside service was held on Thursday, February 6th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Vollman Cemetery.
