She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parent Joe Black; her sisters, Mary Joe Davis and Rosie Pearl Rhodes; and her grandchildren, Tammie (Len Stuart), Misti Joe (Jeff Ellis), Cassie Bland, Tiffany (David Garza), Keith (Carmen Perry), Justin (Maricyn Tucker), Dustin (Keely Perry) and Ashley Horton. She was also cherished by twenty great-grandchildren.
