He was predeceased by: his wife Kathy Burns; his nephews, Douglas Childres, Bobby Childres, Dolan Mankins and Donald Warren; and his stepgrandson Matthew.
He is survived by: his sisters, Dura Childres, Rachel Mankins, Mary Ann Warren of Bogata and Jo Hinsley (Larry) of Bogata; and his stepchildren, Kristi, Kelli and Steven. He is also survived by 6 nieces, 2 nephews, great nieces and nephews, cousins and 5 step-grandchildren.
