He was predeceased by: his parents, Herman "Slick" and Agnes Guess (Elson); his siblings, Jimmy Guess, Dale Guess, Herman Guess, Jr. and Nina Hayes; and his siblings-in-law, Kaylen Goss, Sheila Guess, Donald Porterfield and Pete Brown.
He is survived by: his daughter Torina; his son-in-law Jerry House of Bogata, Texas; his granddaughter Sarah House of Bogata; his siblings, Roger Guess of Bogata, Texas, George Ray Guess of Bogata, Texas, Gary Guess (Ayesha) of Bogata, Texas, Betty Sue Watts (James A.), Mary Jo Porterfield of Bogata and Joyce Gibson (Calvin) of Woodland, Texas; and his sister-in-law Bonnie Guess of Bogata, Texas. He is also survived by special friend.
