He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Edge and Rosa Belle Edge (Schmidt); his wife Hildegard Gartmann; his daughter Sabrina; and his siblings, Beverly, Randall and Hazel. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A memorial service was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Holt & Holt Funeral Home (319 E San Antonio Ave, Boerne, TX 78006). A committal service was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Military Committal Service Mission Burial Park North (W I-10, San Antonio, TX 78257).
