He was predeceased by: his parents, Wallace E. Whitworth, Sr. and Bernice Bertmann Whitworth; his former wife Marilyn DeCordova Whitworth; and his brother Dan Whitworth. He is survived by: his wife Jean; his children, Kathleen Najvar, Michael W. Whitworth, Patrick E. Whitworth (Jane) and Christopher H. Whitworth (Angie); his stepson Dutch Christopher; and his siblings, Betty Menard (Charlie), Peggy Cunningham (Bruce), Bob Whitworth (Carole), Bill Whitworth (Cheryl), Tom Whitworth (Mary Ellen), Jerry Whitworth (Diane), Joe Whitworth (Shelley) and Jack Whitworth (Barbara). He is also survived by eight grandchildren, one great-grandchild, and a multitude of nieces, nephews, and cousins.
