Stuart Wade Hastings Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Stuart Wade Hastings of Boerne, Texas, who passed away on January 24, 2025 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Maggie Hastings; and his parents, Margaret B. Hastings and Wade W. Hastings. He is survived by: his children, Laurie H. Obaugh, David J. Hastings (Jennifer) and Michael W. Hastings; his stepchildren, Alison Topper (Brian), Leslie Brown (Jeff) and Daniel Piercy (Linda); his grandchildren, Lindsey Lohr, Mitchell Childress, Brandon Hastings, Brittani Beck, Christian Hastings, Caitlyn Anderson and Emily Gibson; his sister Joanna Ellis (Ronnie); and his nephew Matthew Ellis (Kim). He is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren.
In place of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to the American ALS Association in memory of Stuart Hastings and his late wife, Maggie.
