As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Sarah Louise may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Harvey Shinn and Helen Shinn; and her sister Elizabeth Wirth. She is survived by: her husband Jim Riggs; her children, Jennifer Summey (Matt) and David Riggs (Shannon); and her grandchildren, Jackson Cofield, Wade Summey, Isaac Riggs and Olivia Riggs.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 10th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Ebensberger Fisher Funeral Home (1265 N Main St, Boerne, TX 78006).
In lieu of flowers, the family encourages donations to a breast cancer research foundation or to an organization supporting early childhood education—causes close to Sarah's heart.
