He is survived by: his wife Shirley (John Greenleaf Whittier Junior High); his daughter Jennifer Bitzkie (Gary); his grandchildren, Kristan Herlihy (Joseph), Joshua Bitzkie (Deborah), Hailey Zoeller (Colton), Grey Herlihy and Case Herlihy; his great grandchildren, Hadley, Ella Zoeller, Renee and Jedidiah Bitzkie; and his sisters, Martha Fisk (Clete), Linda Davis and Debby Ballard (Lee). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
A memorial service was held on Friday, December 6th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Ebensberger Fisher Funeral Home (1265 N Main St, Boerne, TX 78006).
