Nicholas Quaid Pedrotti Obituary

Nicholas Quaid Pedrotti, beloved son, brother, cousin, grandson and friend to so many, has left us to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. He was born into the loving family of Joyce and Dan Pedrotti, Jr. on the 5th of November, 1993, in Phoenix, Arizona. He and his family moved back to Texas in 1996 and built their home in Boerne, Texas, with the hope that their beautiful boys would grow and prosper in a small town community.

He has three brothers, Daniel Anthony Pedrotti, III, Christopher Michael Pedrotti, and Dominic Alexander Pedrotti, a beautiful sister-in-law, Stephanie Rebecca Pedrotti and a very soon to be born nephew, Daniel, IV. He also has two loving parents, Joyce and Dan Pedrotti, Jr., of Boerne, Texas, and two wonderful grandparents, Dan and Carolyn Pedrotti, of Corpus Christi, Texas. His aunts and uncles include– Patti and Charlie Yoachum of Port Aransas, Texas, Diane and Tom Conlee of Spring Branch, Texas, Mike and Laureen Pedrotti, of Corpus Christi, Texas and Robert Inserni, of San Antonio, Texas. Then there are his cousins, which he loved deeply – TJ & Hannah Conlee, Matt and Karen Conlee, Shannon and Nick Kapranos, Michael and Kelly Pedrotti, Kiersten Inserni, Scott Yoachum, Kees Inserni, Lexi and Aaron Morgan, and John Daniel Pedrotti. He also adored his little cousins - Emma, George, Henry, Teeto, Doc, CeCe, and Paxton.

Family was very important in his life and he cherished his relationship with his three brothers. A very close second is his love for his cousins, and then his many great friends. In fact, his ability to love in such large measure defines who he is as a person, and distinguishes him from all the rest. He is a bright light to many and he made sure they all felt his love.

Nicholas was a competitor's competitor. He constantly sought opportunities to challenge his friends, family and himself. From little league, to high school athletics, through college intramurals, from board games to 42, from video games to karaoke, he was always ready to take you to the mat. On the flip side of the coin, Nicholas would be the first to help you up and dust you off so you could try him again. He was always one to push but, unlike so many, he knew when to apologize and he was quick to forgive.

Nicholas attended Texas A&M University from 2012 to 2016. While an Aggie, he was invited to join the SAE Fraternity and he proudly participated in all aspects of his Brotherhood. Being an SAE was very, very important to him and he was always "all in". He would do anything for his SAE brothers and we know his brothers are heartbroken.

Ultimately, the medications for his seizure disorder and the related side-effects made it impossible for him to finish his studies at Texas A&M. At a particularly tough time in his young life, he caught a break and was accepted to The University of the Incarnate Word. This close-knit community was precisely what he needed and he flourished, academically and socially. He made the Dean's list almost every semester he attended UIW and he proudly completed his college career earning a BBA in Finance, in May of 2020.

Still struggling with seizures, he was more determined than ever and he was relentless in his pursuit of a career in the wealth advisory business. His first opportunity was in Philadelphia, PA. Unfortunately, shortly after his move to Philly, his seizures increased in frequency and he had to leave.

Back in Boerne, he never gave in to his affliction and soon, he was working toward his dream job in San Antonio. All that was left for him was passing the Series 7 and he would join the San Antonio office of Equitable Advisors, under the tutelage of Ron Zunker. Ron was putting a team together to establish an Equitable Advisors office in Boerne and Nicholas was slated to be on the team.

Nicholas, Nick, Nico, Nickel Pickle - he went after life aggressively and passionately. As a man, he worked tirelessly to overcome anything that got between him and his goals and at the same time, he always took time to share his sweet and loving self with all of us. He was in a very positive phase in his life, living large, wonderful girlfriend, new job. He was looking forward not back. Alas, for us, the Lord called him home and he will be greatly missed. We take absolute comfort in the idea that he is with us still and lovingly challenging all of us to be the best we can be, in life and in love.

His SAE brothers say - Loved being around him - A genuine kind-hearted friend - A beautiful soul - Such a bright spirit - So kind and respectful - The happiest face to see - Nick was my dog - Always the life of the party - Always knew how to put a smile on someone's face - Such a great friend and always a joy to be around - A hell of a good guy - Always knew how to make people feel better about themselves whether they needed it or not. He's one of the good ones, always has been -. He was THE man - An absolute Legend - One of the younger dudes that had all our respect -. He was one of one and will be sorely missed -. He always had my back - I will always treasure the times we had - One of the toughest men I've ever had pleasure of calling a brother -. He put on a front … after that he was a teddy bear -. He left a mark on every single person he met - I'm so glad we all got to know him -. He loved this fraternity. A lot of you guys were the reason for that. Nick was such a good man and brought such light to every situation - One of the greatest - So much love … We will have a Rosary for the repose of his soul at 7pm, Friday, 10 June 2022, at St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church - 202 W Kronkosky Street, Boerne, TX 78006.

Mass for the Dearly Departed will be said at 2pm, Saturday, 11 June 2022, at St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church – 202 w Kronkosky Street, Boerne, TX 78006. After Mass we will gather at Pedrotti's Ranch for Barbecue, Beer and Stories - 13715 FM1560, Helotes, TX 78023.
