She was predeceased by: her parents, Armin Engel and Franciska Pehl Engel; her sister Doralene Engel; and her brothers-in-law, Calvin Rode, Mike O'Dowd, Tom Sarvis and Martin Mohr.
She is survived by: her husband Loyd; her children, Patrick (Theresa) of Boerne, Lorena Knezek (Walter) of Victoria and Susan Dickens (Robert) of San Antonio; her grandchildren, Darrell Pankratz (Brittany), John Brown, Mary Ann Knezek, Monica Knezek, Jordan Dickens and Kasey Dickens; her great grandchildren, Bradley, William, Olivia Pankratz, Corey and Abigail Brown; her siblings, Leota Rode, Julia O'Dowd, Wiona Engel and Armin Engel (Cindy); and her sisters-in-law, Jean Mohr and Darleen Sarvis. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
