With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Maria Elena Hinojosa (Boerne, Texas), born in Falfurrias, Texas, who passed away on June 8, 2022 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Fernando Dempsey and Ruth Dempsey; and her brother Kenneth Dempsey. She is survived by: her husband Jesse D. Hinojosa Sr.; her stepchildren, Richard Dempsey, Sylvia Carrizales and Susanne Hinojosa; and also, Jesse D. Hinojosa, Jr. and Floyd Hinojosa. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
