He was predeceased by: his parents, Leeroy Bitzkie Sr. and Melanie Bitzkie; and his son Timothy Bitzkie. He is survived by: his wife Judy; his sons, Gary Bitzkie (Jennifer) and John Bitzkie (Jeanette); his grandchildren, Joshua Bitzkie (Deborah), Hailey Zoeller (Colton), Luke Bitzkie and Lily Bitzkie; his great grandchildren, Renee, Jedidiah Bitzkie, Hadley and Ella Zoeller; and his brother Wayne Bitzkie (Kay). He is also survived by numerous nephews, nieces, relatives, and friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM at the St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church (202 W Kronkosky St, Boerne, TX 78006). A rosary was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 from 1:30 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location. A celebration of life was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 from 3:30 PM to 4:00 PM at the Boerne City Cemetery (700 N School St, Boerne, TX 78006). A reception was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 5:30 PM at the St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church (202 W Kronkosky St, Boerne, TX 78006).
