He was predeceased by: his siblings, Airetta Ellis, Helen Damian, Norman, Oscar, Earl and Robert; his siblings-in-law, Iris Cook, Ruth Brown, Dianne Andrews, William Ellis, Gus Damian of Bob Nicholson, T. D and Jim Goetz; his stepchildren, Kevin Downard and Barbara Ray Fennick; his grandson Miles Tiller; his stepgrandson David Engel; and his parents, Oscar Cook and Gertrude Cook (Keeling).
He is survived by: his wife Eleanor Cook (Eichholz); his children, Rhonda Gross, Shawncey Cook, Peggy Day (Michael), Heidi Pitt (Mark), Jamie Cook and Jim Cook (Sally); his stepchildren, Kim Tilley, Kathryn Engleman (Craig), Donald Downard (Catherine), Dori Stone (Rick), Mary Engel Drnach (Joe) and Chris Davis; his sister Joanne Nicholson; and his siblings-in-law, Rose Goetz, Peggy Driskell (Guy), Bonnie Ransleben (Stephen) and Nicholas Eichholz (Kathy). He is also survived by 38 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.
