He was predeceased by: his wife Bettie Jean Cole (Dacy); his parents, Ruth Powell and George Cole; his brother Lyndal Cole; and his daughter Linda Cole Stahl.
He is survived by: his children, Gary N. Cole (Gale) of Boerne, Keith A Cole (Brenda) of Fredericksburg, Sharon Cole Timmons (Alton) of Pipe Creek and Guy L. Cole of George West, Texas; his grandchildren, Ethan Timmons, Tammy Raab, Harley Cole, Kolton Cole, Corey Cole, Kyle Cole, Justin Cole, Cody Cole, Shane Stahl and Coby Stahl; his sister Melba Ewing; and his sister-in-law Velda Cole. He is also survived by thirteen great-grandchildren.
