He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph August Ley and Mary Ella McVicker of Houston. He is survived by: his wife Molly; and his children, Joseph Michael Ley, Melody Lynn Hailey, Malena Ann Weil, Mindy Sue Threatt and Melissa Christine Brown.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 6th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Concordia Lutheran Church (16801 Huebner Rd, San Antonio, TX 78258). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, February 6th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Thursday, February 6th 2025 at 1:15 PM at the Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery (1520 Harry Wurzbach Rd, San Antonio, TX 78209).
