She was predeceased by: her parents, John Henry Griffin and Ann Aubrey; her husband Monroe Nowotny; and her siblings, Helen Fischer, Oleta Heine, Tyra Griffin and Henry Ben Griffin.
She is survived by: her children, Texas Myers (Larry), Dale Focke (John) and Monroe Ben Nowotny (Linda); her sister Lillian Smith; and her grandchildren, Gaye Carey (Rich), Cindy Randall (Jeff), Toni Lister (Weldon), Wendy Kleck (Jeff), Les Maxey, Matthew Myers (Amy), Jim Nowotny (Donica), Jeff Nowotny, Michael Andy Nowotny, Scott Hausmann (Bethany) and Chad Hausmann (Amanda). She is also survived by 18 great-grandchildren; and 8 great-great grandchildren.
