He was predeceased by: his parents, Mario Carota and Estelle Carota; and his brothers, Michael, John, Joseph, Peter, Charles and Vincent.
He is survived by: his wife Terri Carota; his children, Matthew Carota, Jenifer Valdez (Lalo), Christine Yates (Dave) and Stephanie Sanchez; his grandchildren, Loressa, Michael, Emily, Olivia, Letisha, Sara, Logan, Chelsea, Savannah, Anthony and Andrew; and his great grandchildren, Aleyah, Adriana, Connor and Annie.
