With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Carol S. Nelson-Liebe of Boerne, Texas, born in Tampa, Florida, who passed away on September 16, 2023 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her mother Esther Solveig Macon (Woldhagen); her husband Edgar "Ed" Liebe; and her sister Judith Peters-Cox. She is survived by: her father Walter Thomas Macon, Jr.; her children, John M. Nelson (Irma), Diana Nelson-Pedraza (Joseph) and Bonnie Borchers Duettra (Andy); her grandchildren, Cortnie Cuellar, Brenna Mahnke, Derrick Nelson, Kasey Pedraza, Sydney Shults and Hannah Duettra; and her brother Ron Macon. She is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.
