We bid farewell to Carol Anne Menezes (Boerne, Texas), born in Wakefield, Rhode Island, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on February 2, 2025 at the age of 84. Carol Anne touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Alexander Kogut and Mary "Mae" Kogut (Reynolds); and her stepmother Barbara Kogut (Smith). She is survived by: her husband Ernest Menezes; her sons, Michael and Scott (Janine); her grandchildren, Ryan, Katherine and Zachary; her sister Donna Kiernan; and her caregiver Emily Sperber. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, family, friends.
A funeral Mass will be held on Monday, March 3rd 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church (202 W Kronkosky St, Boerne, TX 78006). A committal service will be held on Monday, March 3rd 2025 from 2:15 PM to 2:45 PM at the Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery (1520 Harry Wurzbach Rd, San Antonio, TX 78209).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the San Antonio Humane Society, a reflection of Carol's lifelong passion for animals.
