She was predeceased by: her parents, Ray Simmoms and Floy Simmoms (Pickens); her husband Kenneth McPherson; her son Danny McPherson; and her sister Georgia Harris.

She is survived by: her children, Richard (Terri) of Blum, Craig (Cathie) of Blum, Sonda, Dodd Carmichael of Bynum and David McPherson of Rio Vista; her grandchildren, Sabrina (Jeremy Deason), Kaelyn (Seth King), Jason McPherson, Nolan Carmichael, Jordan (Casey Colbaugh) and Devin McPherson; and her sister Beverly (Tim Cooke) of Blooming Grove. She is also survived by 20 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
