She was predeceased by: her husband John Allen Carswell (J. A.); her parents, A. B. Wilkinson (Boon) and Leota White Wilkinson; and her siblings, LaVerle Tennison and Mack Wilkinson.

She is survived by: her children, Terri Moore (Gary), Jeff Carswell (Sandra), Susan Perkins (Tim), Joey Carswell and Dray Ann Duncan (Mike); her grandson Jody Coffman (Meredith); her children, Averie, Jace and Jack; her grandson John Patrick Carswell (Jennifer); her children, Ava and Jude; her granddaughter Ashley Scruggs (Wesley); her children, Jacob, Maddie and Ashlynn; her grandson Joshua Carswell (Michelle); her children, Amy and Jefferson; her granddaughter Amanda Gill (Jay); her children, Jake and Andie; her granddaughter Audray Moran (Matthew); her children, Jayden, Jorden and Annabelle; her granddaughter Alexandria Edwards (Austen); her children, Adley and Adrien; her granddaughters, Adrianna Duncan (Miles Thetford), Abbie Carswell and Jolee Carswell; her stepgranddaughter Shannon Kinnon (Adam); her children, Miranda, Izzy, Dominic and Damian; her stepgrandson Cliff Moore; her children, Cooper and Chloe; her stepgrandson Neil Moore (Ashley); her children, Greyson, Grant, Griffin and Georgia Beth; her siblings, Ray Wilkinson (Erlinda), Jim Wilkinson (Marie), Mary Boudreaux (Jerry) and Tim Wilkinson (Becky); and her brother-in-law James Carswell (Sue). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
