He was predeceased by: his parents, Vernon Cowley and Jessie Cowley (Coker); and his sister Verna Lee Seaberry. He is survived by: his wife Johnnie Perkins of Bluegrove; his daughters, Deana Keck (Les) of Duncan and Marie Means of Virginia; his grandchildren, Michael Cowley (Cori) of Scotland and Kealsey Edin (Geard) of Duncan, Oklahoma; his great grandchildren, Wayland, Hayes, Creece Cowley and Josh Edin; and his sister Vaudine Keel of Wichita Falls. He is also survived by several nephews, nieces, and cousins.

Memorial donations may be made to Hospice of Wichita Falls.
