She was predeceased by: her parents, Benjamin Franklin Skinner and Grace Pinion Skinner; her husband J. C. Sims of Blue Ridge; and her siblings, Glenderl Reed, James Skinner and Thermon Skinner.
She is survived by: her son Ricky Lee Sims. She is also survived by his classmates and friends.
