She was predeceased by: her father Harry K. Ping; her grandmother Mildred Cunningham; her mother Margery Downey; her stepparents, Bill Downey and Rosalie; and her siblings, Sharon Carter and Gene Maines.
She is survived by: her children, Sherra, Kerra, Darren and Terra; and her husband Joe. She is also survived by her four children, fourteen grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, and six siblings.
