He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilbur Edmond Hostetler and Julia Rebecca Simmons Hostetler; his siblings, Eddie and Judy Record; his granddaughters, Julia Nicholson and Roxann Dunham; the mother of his children Mildred; and his close friend Bernice Hopson.

He is survived by: his daughters, Rhonda Hostetler West and Rhelda Hostetler; his siblings, Ronnie Hostetler (Carolyn) and Becky Foster (Eldon); his grandson Ricky Hostetler; and his sister-in-law Sue Underwood.
