She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Lee Oats and Lucy May Thompson Oats; her spouse Talma L. Roddy; her granddaughter Ashlee Roddy; and her siblings, Billy Joe Oats, Cecil Oats, Ruby Prestridge, Annie Holbert and Katherine Lollar.

She is survived by: her sons, Ronald Roddy (Beverly) of Blossom and Mike Roddy (Carol) of Blossom; her grandchildren, Tonya Whatley (Brian), Alishia Bratcher (John), Erik Roddy (Cheryl), Lucas Roddy (Kortnie) and Jessica Smith (Herbert); her great grandchildren, Caleb, Jacob, Joshua Bratcher, Jordan, Gracie, Serena Whatley, Hayley Reynolds (Baren), Evan Roddy, Nathan Roddy, Ryan Roddy, Shanlee Roddy, Rudd Roddy and Kendall Smith; and her great great grandchildren, Isabelle and Allison Reynolds. She is also survived by many nieces & nephews and a plethora of friends.
