He was predeceased by: his parents, Riley C. Herron and Winnie Finch Herron; and his siblings, Florine Harris, Alma Net Morris, Opal Miears, Horris Herron and Jim Bob Young.
He is survived by: his wife Oberia Herron; his children, Jeanette Wilson, Michael Herron (Vanessa) and Ronald Herron (Charity); and his sisters, Polly Bell and Loretta Weddle. He is also survived by eight grandchildren, sixteen great grandchildren, two great grandchildren.
