He is survived by: his children, Lelia Rodriguez (Fred) of Anson, Guadalupe Rivera (Alvaro) of Haskell, Ophelia Arredondo (Paul Garcia) of Victoria, Erlinda Portilla (Rudy) of Port Lavaca, Jane Arredondo of Bloomington, Alberto Arredondo (Gloria) of Bloomington and Alfredo Arredondo of Bloomington; his brother Luis Arredondo of San Antonio; and his grandsons, Alfred Rodriguez, Jr., John Roy Rivera, Rudolpho Portilla, Jr., Alex Arredondo, Eric Salinas and Vincent Q. Arredondo. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren.
