He is survived by: his children, Melody Nelson (Kurt) of Houston, Texas and Joe Robert Gallegos (Yvonne) of Bloomington, Texas; his grandchildren, Joshua Perez, Jennifer Amador, Eric Gallegos and Mateo Nelson; and his great grandchildren, Ambriah Perez, Isaiah Longoria, Makayla Perez and Christopher Composano.
