He was predeceased by: his parents, Eduardo "Lalo" Gallegos and Carmen Nanez Gallegos; and his siblings, Gomecindo Cruz, Felipe Nanez, Eduardo Gallegos, Juan Gallegos, Jesus Gallegos, Pablo Gallegos, Santos Gonzalez, Rosa Cervantes, Juanita Gallegos, Geonoveva Alcantar and Alicia Castillo.
He is survived by: his children, Melody Nelson (Kurt) of Houston, Texas and Joe Robert Gallegos (Yvonne) of Bloomington, Texas; his grandchildren, Joshua Perez, Jennifer Amador, Eric Gallegos and Mateo Nelson; and his great grandchildren, Ambriah Perez, Isaiah Longoria, Makayla Perez and Christopher Composano.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 1st 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Grace Funeral Home - Victoria (2401 Houston Hwy, Victoria, TX 77901). A rosary will be held on Tuesday, October 1st 2024 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 2nd 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Wednesday, October 2nd 2024 at the Resurrection Cemetery.
