It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gene M Katzmarek (Bloomington, Texas), who passed away on March 13, 2018, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. He is survived by: his wife Gerry; his children, Barb Hanson, Gloria Boo (Pete), Charles Katzmarek (Mary), David Katzmarek (Brother Joseph), Jane Frances Barrett (Randy), Carol Gilbertson (Christopher) and James Katzmarek (Abby); and his sister-in-law Lorraine Sitarz. He is also survived by his parents, two sisters, and one brother.
