With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Betty Lusk Russell (Blooming Grove, Texas), born in Dallas, Texas, who passed away on September 28, 2019 at the age of 70. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Clyde W. Lusk and Mavis Hollingsworth Lusk; and her brothers-in-law, Terry Houchins and Donnie Young. She is survived by: her husband Don Russell; her children, Kerry Layfield (Joel) and Brad Russell (Belinda); her grandchildren, Erin Powell (Josh), Jessica Layfield, Rachel El-Etoum (Kalub) and Jaycee Russell; her great grandchildren, Aubrey, Andrew, Alyvia, Raylee and Kash; and her sisters, Bobbie Houchins and Bryne Young. She is also survived by aunts and cousins.
