He was predeceased by: his former wife Linda Kessler Davis; and his parents, Willard Presley Davis and Eunice Verda Philpott Davis. He is survived by: his wife Gloria Thomason Davis; his children, Jackie Giles (Billy) and Sidney Davis (Jessica); his grandchildren, Kristen Draper (Cody Via), Brittany Sheffield (Adam), Zach Giles, Sydni Brooke Davis and Cody Shields (Shade Attaway); his great grandchildren, Noah and Greyson Sheffield; his siblings, Jimmy Davis, Ted Davis (Quenna), Charlotte Pyle, Judy Calhoun (Fred) and Niecy Adams (Jeff); and his siblings-in-law, Tommy Kessler (Vicki) and Sharon Gilmore (Steve).
In lieu of flowers, the Family asks that donations be sent to the Holly Street Church of God building fund or Sand Hill Assembly of God.
