He was predeceased by: his father Joe Bailey Lummus; and his son James Brandon Lummus. He is survived by: his mother Rae Lummus of Fort Worth, Texas; his daughters, Stacie Mooney (Casey) of Bloomburg and Stephanie Sertuche (Simon) of Bloomburg, Texas; his sister Donna Hill Pope of Fort Worth, Texas; his grandchildren, Kaitlyn Mooney, Brandon Mooney, Ryleigh Smith, Kenzleigh Lummus and Oakleigh Sertuche; and his nieces and nephews, Dan Hill, Jared Harrist, Rodney Harrist, Paula Warrick and Lisa Hill McKay. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
