It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty Mae Burnette (Bloomburg, Texas), born in Shreveport, Louisiana, who passed away on February 7, 2023, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Dempsey Wilkinson and Lily Wilkinson; her siblings, Helen Purifoy, Charles Wilkinson and Janice Sebren; and her great grandchild Beau Brackman.
She is survived by: her sisters, Barbara "Jean" Stinson, Shirley Ragan, Frances Waters Wain and Joanne Haltom; her children, Dennis Dubois and Kathy James (Tim); her daughter-in-law Darlene Dubois; her grandchildren, Dennis Dubois II, Jason Dubois (Ashley), Craig Nelms (Brandy), Jennifer Dubois, Carrie Epperson, Gregory Hunt (Amanda), Ali Clayton (Michael) and Sarah Ballentine; and her great grandchild Virgil Trenado (Dorothy). She is also survived by 3 great-great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews and the father.
