He was predeceased by: his siblings, Jesse Morales, Ray Morales and Sara Barrios. He is survived by: his wife Teresa Esquivel Morales; and his children, Joe Morales, Jr. (Jackie), Carlos Morales (Tara), Nicholas Esquivel, Dora Rios and Carol Cortez (Herman). He is also survived by 10 grandchildren, two of which were raise like daughters (Angelica and Amber) and 5 great-grandchildren.
