He is survived by: his children, Cynthia "Cindy" Lara (Steve), Freddie Lara (Maggie), Gary Cruz Lara (Dana), Ricardo Lara (Charlotte) and Mario Lara (Stephanie); his brothers, Lino Lara, Vincent Alvarado and Tony Alvarado; and his grandchildren, Rachel Gartica, Gabriel Lara, Sarah Lara, Joshua Cruz Lara, Jessica Lara Moya, Jacob Lara, Jordy Carrillo, Marisa Garcia, Chelsea Perez and Nicholas Perez. He is also survived by numerous great Grandchildren.
