He was predeceased by: his parents, Alf Edgar and Dollie Edgar; his wife Agatha Wilson; his brothers, Fred Edgar and Jim Edgar; and his sister-in-law Zanna Edgar.
He is survived by: his children, Marilyn Lewis (Jeff) of Stephenville, Stan Edgar of Stephenville, Amy Snyder (Glenn) of Tuscaloosa and Scott Edgar of Ft. Worth; his siblings, Linda Deen (Jimmie) of Blanket and Wayne Edgar (Mary) of Early; his sister-in-law Ann Edgar of Early; and his grandsons, Cody Lewis (Brandie) of Stephenville, Tyler Lewis of Stephenville, Reed Snyder of Tuscaloosa, Alabama and Jack Snyder of Tuscaloosa, Alabama. He is also survived by 2 great grandchildren; and many cousins, nieces, nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations be made to the Bethel Baptist Church, 1800 CR 286 N, Zephyr, TX 76890.
