With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Russell Hauenstein of Blanco, Texas, born in Emmetsburg, Iowa, who passed away on September 13, 2022 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Mervin Alfred Hauenstein and Ruth Elizabeth Batt Hauenstein; and his sisters, Darlene Johnson and Lois Lehman. He is survived by: his wife Gloria Ann Hathaway Hauenstein; his children, Brett R. Hauenstein (Sandi) and Julie Ann Marthaler (Randy Marthaler); his grandchildren, Haley Ann Hauenstein and Colby Russel Marthaler; and his sister Joyce Muller. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
