He is survived by: his wife Elena Hernandez; his children, Rita Sanchez (Andres), Sandy Guzman, Martin Sauceda, Jr., Samantha Suarez (Blas, Jr.), Orlando Hernandez, Vanessa Henry (Jimmy) and Juan Andres Hernandez (Celenia); and his brother Homero Hernandez (Juanita). He is also survived by sixteen grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
