He was predeceased by: his children, Baby Richey and Pamela Cunningham; his parents, Bruce Richey and Hattie Lou Martin; and his brother David Richey.
He is survived by: his wife Frances Richey; his sisters, Dorothy Waddelo (Darrell) and JoAnn Reeves; his children, Brandy Meyer (Daniel), Cindy Blackard (Troy) of Houston, TX, Brenda Gilbert (Tommy) of Houston, TX and George Richey Jr.; his grandson Ron Richey of Houston, TX.; his son Randy Chappell of Seguin, TX.; and his son-in-law Tommy Cunningham of Conroe, TX.. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, cousins and extended family.
