He is survived by: his wife Alice Dowdy (Haag); his children, Tracy Mercer and Christopher Dowdy; his grandchildren, Jacob Mercer, Sadie Cheyenne Mercer, Gweneth Dowdy and McKenna Miles; his siblings, Irene Pancake, Gerald (Barbara Dowdy) and Kelly (Linda Dowdy); and his nieces and nephews, Rocky Dietert, Roxie Smeal, Ronnie Dowdy, Gail Neas, Larry Harbarth, Shirley Saunders, Terry Cox, Iris Wright, Gordon Dowdy and Clinton Dowdy. He is also survived by friends, and five beloved 4-legged friends.
