He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Woodruff and Julia Coats Woodruff; and his siblings, Paul Woodruff, Troy Woodruff, Larry Woodruff, Irene Blalock and Lena Woodruff.

He is survived by: his siblings, Coy Woodruff of Douglassville, Donald Woodruff (Sharon) of DeKalb, David Woodruff (Julia) of Rosser, Howard Woodruff of New Boston, Virginia Woodruff of Moultrie, Barbara Hanes (Jerry) of Hooks and Betty Jennings (David) of Shreveport; and his sister-in-law Linda Woodruff of New Boston. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, great, and great great nieces and nephews.
