He was predeceased by: his parents, Luther Jones and Lillian Jones; his former wife Claudia E. Jones; his son Clint Jones; and his sister Mary Margaret Jones Mahler.
He is survived by: his significant other Sherry Berney of Bivins, Texas; his daughters, Lorie Carroll (Tom) of Branson and Dawn Moon (Jerry) of Draper, UT; and his sister Susie Hulen (Bobby) of Tyler, Texas. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and a number of nieces, nephews; and a host of friends.
